--- March 11th, 2021 ---

Dear Patients:

The Media Release of March 3rd, 2021 announcing the start of primary care practices in Hamilton administering the AstraZeneca vaccine to patients ages 60 – 64 is very good news. However, this is a pilot study and is only being offered to a few clinics and sites in the City of Hamilton at this time.

It is hoped that they will expand this program in the coming weeks. If/when we receive the approval to run a Southwest Clinic our office is well prepared to call all patients that meet the criteria and organize vaccination clinics quickly.

For up-to-date information please access:

The Hamilton Public Health portal: https://www.hamilton.ca/coronavirus

Please note that the vaccine offered will be decided by Public health. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
